If you need a bespoke version
You can keep using this free tool as it is. If you need a bespoke version with your own rules, data or workflows for a website, shop or internal process, I can build it for you – for example with custom rules and data sources, approvals and exports, and website or shop integration.
Make iPhone photos usable everywhere
Newer iPhones often save photos as HEIC. This saves storage space but can cause errors in older Windows programs, forms and some websites. JPG is larger but compatible almost everywhere.
Quality and image size
88 per cent is a good choice for ordinary photos. If images are used only in email or on a website, a width of 2,000 pixels is often enough. For print or further editing, keep the original size and choose a high quality setting.
Metadata is not retained
The new JPG contains only the visible image. Capture date, camera model and stored GPS coordinates are not copied from the HEIC file.
